Long Days and Short Nights

We've been having some much fun this summer staying busy and taking advantage of the long days and short nights. Last week, Aunt Elizabeth came and got the boys to go to Mama Ford and Grandfather's for a few days before the rest of us came down for the 4th Weekend. My sister, Lacy, was also there that week, so the boys had fun with the aunts and cousins. They spent several days swimming, gardening, and fishing...becoming pros in all areas.

Saturday was my nephew, Holdyn's, birthday and he turned 8. He was baptized that day out at my parent's house. That started off the day, then we swam, grilled out, made ice cream, went fishing, swam some more, fished some more, and shot off fireworks. It was lots of fun having almost all the family there. We were just missing David, Lacy's husband...he had to stay in Utah to work.
