Here's a testimonial, years after the fact. However, I question the validity, but still.
I'm going on 89 years YOUNG . . . LOL . . . and was very amused by the Lysol douche ad. I don't know if I'm "still the girl my husband married" as I have pretty bad osteoarthritis (could it have been the Lysol?), but used Lysol as a douche and contraceptive ever since I married at age 17!! I had two children, both sons who turned out very well, in spite of the Lysol!! LOL
It's rather funny as I used it every day for many, many years because back in the early days, we didn't have the "Pill" and Lysol was used after "the act" to prevent unwanted pregnancies by just about every lady I knew, including my mother and grandmother who had just ONE child each.
Here are some ads I found for using Lysol as a douche.
I wonder if they had pine or lemon scented?

Oh-my-word! Hey why not just use bleach, or Comet, or I know, Draino. Gotta keep those pipes clean! That ad makes me want to find that geezer in the picture and stick his dipper in some Lysol, if you know what I mean.
That is so funny! Wow. I have not ever heard of anything like that before. I agree with Rachael M, wouldn't that hurt like crazy. By the way, I love your playlist. I was driving my kids crazy by just sitting here listening to the songs.

Jennie: Speaking of Comit someone my mother in law works with brushes her teeth with it. Gwen commented on her really white teeth and she said that's what she used.
If they don't think tampons are hygenic maybe they would like this idea over there!
